A smutty buddy is a friend that you treat like shit but still get along with really well.

Rob: Driving Golf Cart, notices Beebo hanging of the side laughing and having a good time, and snatches the wheel to the left flinging Beebo through the air just to smash into the pavement...Rob laughs uncontrollably. When he realizes his friend is laughing too he proclaims "ahhh That's my little smutty buddy. "
