Shitastrophe

An avoidable unpleasant event that becomes a catastrophe then escalates into a shit show.

When left with no choice but to turn the presentation over to his incompetent colleague, James worried that the annual business meeting would turn from a necessary but boring report out to a shitastrophe, and he was correct.
