Promise 

A promise is not simply a word or a meaningless action. A promise is a logical oath to something. And if you break that promise than you lose all trust with a person. A pinky promise is something far greater and a pinky promise should only be made as if you are putting your life on that promise.

Love 

Love is something that can not be thrown around like its just a word. And there are different types of love. (Loving someone, being in love with someone)
Love cannot simply be thrown away and if your Love for someone you actually have is there you will make the easy or hard decision to grow with that person through thick and thin no matter what issues pop up.
