A butt pool is any swimming pool or body of water adequate to submerge one's posterior. Conspicuous examples abound from the Hilton time-share complex in Las Vegas to the geothermal Blue Lagoon in Iceland. A butt pool worthy of the name will be temperate, and ensure a seamless water-butt interface. Sulfur geysers in Yellowstone or glacial runoff, for instance, would not meet these criteria being too hot and cold, respectively, to comfortably drag one's derriere about in their midst.
