SIPMOP is an acronym referring to Self Induced Permanent Myopia of Perspective. A person has SIPMOP when they refuse to even acknowledge that their perspective might be wrong.
Bill: I don't care if it's a scientific fact, I don't like it's so it's fake news.
Ted: Bill has a serious case of SIPMOP.
