Sahar is an Arabic name and it’s a girl’s name. In arabic there are two periods of sahar. The first sahar is just before dawn. To be more specific, the last moments of the dark night. The second sahar is during the dawn when the dark of the night starts fading.

Daughter: when is your flight?

Mom: just before dawn.
Daughter: like 4am?

Mom: yes!

Sahar2:
Daughter: i have to wake up early to pick up miya.
Mom: what time exactly?
Daughter: at dawn. before the sunrise.
