a person who is normally airheaded/ditzy/dense, but occasionally comes up with things only a rocket scientist could dream of, ie) an idiot savant.
Even though Nicole never remembers to tie her shoes, her theory on the symbiosis of the evolution of jazz and the repeal of Prohibition really proves she's socket rientist.
