Etymemeology /e-tə-'mi m-mä-lə-jē/

noun, plural etymemeologies, adjective etymemeological, adverb etymemeologically.

1. a chronological account of the birth and development of a particular meme or element of a meme, often delineating its spread from one website or person to another and its evolving changes in style, form, behavior and meaning.

2. the study of historical cultural change, especially as manifested in individual words, phrases, style, behavior and haircuts.

3. the derivation of a hipster.
