The lengthy ponderance and questioning of a word that is in common usage.
Watsonism is often associated with the repeated questioning of the word 'cyclicality' (a watsonist would use 'goes up and down from time to time' or some other lengthy explanation) and other relatively complex economic related terminology. The watsonist prefers lengthy rambling prose rather than succinct informative sentences.
