One of the boys

A female-bodied person whose personality is more masculine than feminine. "One of the boys" generally prefer to hang out with boys and do activities that are typically considered "boy things," such as watching sports, hunting and mudding.

"She would rather get a tooth drilled than go clothes shopping--she's one of the boys."
