An edm subgenre invented by Paul Devro from Diplo's Mad Decent label. Characteristics include having 1 second of a song stuck on loop for at least 5 minutes, usually creating a repeated "meow" sound for the listener.

Man, that loopcore set was awesome! If only my cat sounded that good.
