Tradio 

A radio used by a tradesman/tradeswoman/tradesperson ("tradie" - Australian colloq.) to accompany their work, either indoors or outdoors, with zero regard for anyone in the surrounding area who may be adversely affected by its all-pervasive high volume.

Thank God they've finished building my kitchen and I don't have to listen to that bloody tradio anymore.
