Short for "If I laugh," shorter still for "If I laugh, I must share." Used for when sharing a meme and the only excuse for sharing it is because you found it funny. Also to excuse the politics or opinion of the original post. For example, a cartoon might trash your favorite film franchise, but it did it in a funny enough way that you forgive the slight and share it anyway.

I admit, I don't know enough about quantum physics to know if this is true, but IIL.
