Xanax is a quick medical/insurance fix that's cheap compared to the hard work of counselling therapy. It's lazy medicine. It's the non-solution solution.

Xanax may help when used under close medical and counselling supervision. But when taken without supervision, it can lead to disaster. Xanaz abuse will cause great physcial and psychological damage, and lead to coma and death.

August 29, 2007... Beautiful smart Allison, age 26 - mother of an 18 month old son, rushed to the hospital... She lay in a coma - on a respirator - no brain activity... unintentional Xanax overdose. She repeatedly denied she had a problem with Xanax and refused to get help.
