Parked in your car. Laying low in your car, not driving, not near your home, making you hard to locate. (By police, rivals) The "cut" refers to your car, first used in reference to an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.

T-dawg better lay in the cut until those pigs snag some poor kid off the street.
