I’ll let the court statement of Ron DeSantis’s general counsel define it. “Wokeism is a view that there are systemic injustices in American society, and the need to have policies that address them.”

Those who subscribe to wokeism are aware that statistics show that on average black men are incarcerated for longer sentences than white men who committed the same crime and that there should be policies to address this unfairness.
