a hippie, a hipster, or some sort of miscellaneous suburban misfit indulging in a wide assortment of supplements, potions, elixirs, and grandpas’ old prescriptions to figure out if those help lose fat, treat diverticulitis, or cure cancer.

The stinky orange gunk on my sister-in-law’s face is something Dr. Oz recommended the other day for sunless tanning. She decided to be a trialster, smearing it on herself and sharing her results on the Internet.
