Manarch
A man who believes his needs, authority, comfort, and desires should take precedence over a woman’s. A manarch expects women to accommodate him, views male dominance as normal, and often dismisses or minimizes a woman’s autonomy, boundaries, or perspective. The term was coined to capture a pattern of behavior that many people feel is not fully described by existing everyday English words such as machista in Spanish.
