A trope where everyone thinks everything went according to someone's plan but in actuality it was pure luck and coincidences. Some to none of what the person did was planned, but everyone thinks it was.

“So nothing what you did was planned!?” The guy laughed at his friend’s schemvac story about him “outsmarting” a guy in chess.
