Digital Presenteeism

Digital Presenteeism™ is the condition where an organisation's digital content is visible and accessible but fails to communicate sufficient explicit meaning, evidence or commercial context for AI systems to confidently extract, interpret, trust, compare and recommend it. The content is findable, but its intended meaning cannot be understood with confidence.
A company's website contains all the information needed to explain its products and services, but because critical evidence, context and differentiation are implicit rather than explicit, AI must infer too much. The result is a gap between the message the organisation intended to communicate and the one AI confidently understands. That's Digital Presenteeism™.
