Neosoutherner

Some one who's born in the south, but whose parents came from elsewhere, typically the north. They are usually found in big cities such as Atlanta and Dallas. Some look down on the "true" southerners, but others are fond of their homeland.

Tom: At what battle did your great-great-grandaddy defend Dixie?
