Baub

Verb: baub /ˈbɔ b/ (onomatopoeia) To take one's motorbike out for no other purpose than the pleasure of riding it. Primarily used for motorbike rides, but could possibly be applied to other vehicles that make a similar noise. Tesla owners presumably go out for a whine.

"I've just spent another £500 on the bike, so I'm going out for a baub to try and justify wasting all that money on it."

"OK love, your life insurance is up to date, yes?"
