In mediatok and/or mediacord, Larp means fake consuming a certain type of media. Could be an Anime, Manga, TV series, light novel, etc..

It's when someone says they've watched/read something they haven't.

-Yooo Michael, did you know that James read the Toaru series??!

-Nah mate, he's a known larp, don't believe him before asking questions about Toaru.
