Something such as a movie, book or performance that other people -- especially wives, girlfriends and those under the age of 9 -- think is great -- adorable, even -- but that you see is trite, sentimental, saccharine or otherwise unworthy of your time, and which you will hate if exposed to, especially if you have to endure it all the way to its no-doubt precious end.

"She said the movie was really cute, as if she thought 'cute' movies were the kind of crap I like."
