Salvageable-Science-Shit

An object or part that has science-like value to someone who makes stuff. The actual practicality and likelihood of future use of said object/part can vary widely. A good piece of SSS can make a hobbyist giddy with childlike glee while also making their partner roll their eyes and sigh with exasperation.

I just wanted to get rid of that dirty old vacuum, but apparently even that counts as Salvageable-Science-Shit to him!
