Verb: To, through attempting to adjust computer equipment with the intention of improving performance, render such equipment inoperable for short periods of time.

Noun: A person who Brences.

Often seen in live video streams, where the broadcaster makes a correction to broadcast settings, only to have the feed stop, or otherwise falter.

"You touched the webcam, and the site went down?"
"Yeah, I Brenced it."
