"pissed" - PIST membrane (noun)
Acronym for Polyethylene Induction-Sealed Tamper membrane. The peel-off freshness seal found under the caps of milk, juice, and other food containers. Most commonly referred to as a "pissed" membrane after it has been left on the countertop, stuck to a sink, adhered to someone's hand, or otherwise not thrown away immediately, causing disproportionate household irritation.
Who left the "pissed" membrane on the counter again? The trash can is literally three feet away...

Acronym for Polyethylene Induction-Sealed Tamper membrane. Commonly found beneath caps on milk and juice containers. Intended for freshness preservation but more frequently encountered adhered to countertops, sinks, fingers, or in mysterious damp locations throughout the kitchen.
