Dumplighting

When someone dumps on your ideas, work, or emotions — harshly criticizing, mocking, or belittling — and then immediately gaslights you by denying they were being rude, mean, or insulting.

I told him how much effort I put into my script, and he said it was “trash with a budget.” When I called him out, he said I was being dramatic. Classic dumplighting.
