Dumbassery

A broad characterization of inexplicably stupid behavior, generally that which involves a lack of common sense. Often used as a sentence all on its own.

It is pure dumbassery that Equifax received a fraud prevention contract after they disclosed a massive breach of data that will result in millions of consumers being exposed to fraud.
