1. The anime fan equivalent of 'bae', because 'nya' is cute and so is a waifu. Commonly used ironically.

2. Anime fan and weeb slang for "the best" or "my favorite." Also commonly used ironically by animemers, but weebs will use it seriously.

1. "Gosh, Homura Akemi is my nya."

2. "That anime is my nya!"
