When Jesus died, there was an abundance of small boys who need dressing in frocks and raping. A section of the church was put in charge of this know as the catholic church. These men used an acronym to let everybody know there purpose in life. This acronym then entered the English language and its original meaning mostly forgotten.
The true meaning of the word priest is detailed below:

paedophile resident in every small town.

Priest: Hello little boy, i'm a Priest.
Little Boy: Are you going to Rape me?
Priest: Yes.
