Ibius

Acronym for "Irish Born In United States". Usually used to distinguish between "Irish" Americans who are several generations removed from immigration and native Irish people. Sometimes used derogatorily in the same manner as "plastic paddy"

"Ah, I heard Duncan McNamara's actually an Ibius."
"Really? I thought he was born in Cork."
