A situation where you’re forced to choose between two bad options, neither of which you want, but one is slightly less awful than the other.

Neither option was good, so I just chose the evil of the lesser two.”

It came down to the evil of the lesser two, and I still wasn’t happy about it.

I didn’t want either outcome, but sometimes you just pick the evil of the lesser two and move on.
