Lord Wafflington's definitions
Puffy; /ˈpʌfi/
adjective
1. Describes a person who looks or acts soft, swollen, or emotionally inflated — often visibly flustered, sensitive, or on the brink of an overreaction. A classic pre-Karen state where someone isn’t fully causing a scene yet, but the energy is building.
2. Can also imply someone is physically puffy — e.g., tired eyes, bloated face — usually from stress, crying, or general life struggles.
Not inherently insulting, but context and tone matter. Saying someone’s puffy can be affectionate, observational, or a subtle warning that they’re spiralling.
