A term used to describe one of the nursing profession who, when faced with a medical question, is so excited about human anatomy and physiology that they give an overly in depth explaination. Often this is done to non medical people in a altruistic and condescending manor.
I asked a simple question about my rash but Nurse Becky felt the need to nursesplain an entire dermatology lesson!
