Menofug

The brain fog which descends on perimenopausal and menopausal women which makes you forget why you entered the kitchen or the reason you picked up your mobile phone or wracking your mind for a word that's at the tip of your tongue but won't present itself. It's a memory loss that forces women to have reminders in place for absolutely everything.

She started introducing a friend and try as she might, could only remember the friend's surname. Some days the menofug was so bad, it was embarrassing, not to say scary.
