Its gas operated (means the gas takin from a shot round comes back to throw the bolt back for all u idiots out there) and its chamberd at 5.56 x 45mm. This rifle has an effective range of 500 meters for a point target and 700 meters for an area target. Has many varients such as the M4A1 and can be equiped with the M203 grenade launcher.

The Ak-47 is the worlds most exported gun in the world. Designed by a former soviet tank commander, Avtomat Timovaich Kalashnikov, in 1947. Some people think that he based the idea off of the germans STG 44, this is not true. It operates on a completely different system. Chambered at 7.62 x 39mm, it operates on a rotating bolt. It can be fed from a 30 round and 10 round box magazines or 50-100 round drum magazines. It is dependable and powerful. Simple design and spaceing between parts means You can do whatever you want with it and it will still work. Used by many countries around the world, more than 10 million produced with the latest version being the Ak-74 which is chambered at 5.55 x 39 for easier control.
