The Turritopsis dohrnii, more commonly known as the immortal jellyfish, is the first species to be found immortal. This amazing creature was first founded in 1883 by Austin Wiesmann. Austin Wiesman was a german evolutionary biologist mainly known for his germ plasm theory, once known as Weismannism.
