A state of confusion triggered by your subconsciousness the eventually tells your consciousness.

Jimmy ate a patch of picker plants everyone told him was good for him. At first he realized they were nutritional, but after he ate them. Jimmy was in confusiosioness after all the spikes got stuck in his tongue.
