Vardrid

A derogatory term used primarily by frustrated "Varca" (FC Barcelona) fans to cope with Real Madrid’s relentless success in the Champions League and La Liga. It’s a portmanteau of VAR (Video Assistant Referee) and Madrid, born from the delusional belief that every trophy won by the Los Blancos is a direct result of a global refereeing conspiracy rather than, you know, actually scoring goals.

Fan A: "Real Madrid just pulled off another 90th-minute comeback to win their 16th UCL title. They are inevitable."
Fan B (crying behind a Messi profile pic): "VARDRID strikes again! The referee didn't give a throw-in at the 12th minute, clearly rigged!"
