Gurokawa

Gurokawa (グロカワ) is a slang term of Japanese origin that is a combination of the katakana words for grotesque and cute. It origanated in the 2000s and is considered an aesthetic. It can also be applied to a style of clothing and makeup.

An example of Gurokawa could be a cute character with pastel colors that has something that has to do with gore or some kind of common phobia.

Basically Gurokawa can be anything that is cute and unsettling at the same time.
