Malden flu: A localized term in the Boston/Lynn Massachusetts area used to describe someone who is a total lightweight and lacks the stamina to keep up. Someone who catches the "Malden flu" is someone who can't hang, whether they tap out early at a party after a few drinks, or completely burn out and complain halfway through a long work day or offshore fishing trip, motorcycle run or any extreme activity.
