Used by nerds to define BPM, often in Romania and Italy. Can be used in a mechanism (see beats per minute mechanism) and may be created by the government.
Those who say this either are a part of the niche meme or need help. Possibly both

Teacher- ‘What is the heart rate measured in’
Student/nerd- ‘Beats per minut mis’
