not rel
Short for "not relevant." A casual, low-effort way to dismiss an option, offer, or situation that does not apply to your current circumstances. Unlike "irrelevant," it is highly informal and allows you to shut down a topic instantly without having to explain the underlying reasons why it doesn't apply to you. (Often used as an English equivalent to the phrase "not nogeah").
Person A: "Hey, the community pool is open today if you want to go for a swim."Person B: "Thanks, but not rel." (Secretly, Person B is feeling sick, but uses "not rel" to skip the long explanation). Person A: "Do you want a slice of pizza? I ordered extra."Person B: "Not rel, I just ate a massive lunch.
