Arm Broccoli

The opposite of arm candy: when someone isn't physically attractive, but you like them emotionally and intellectually.
Fun fact: The word "broccoli" is derived from the Latin word "brachium", which means "arm." So this term is also like saying "arm arm."

"His girlfriend is arm broccoli. She may not be a model, but she IS a biomedical engineer."
