congratulating and honoring someone delivering a piece of critical information, usually by a 3rd party member in the conversation or one who had not been participating in it beforehand.

A. "Is Terry having another cookout today at his dad's house?"
B. "I dont think so he told me the grill is missing again"
C. "Actually, I talked to him earlier and he said he found it outside the garage"
