Upference 

Upference is the process by which one concludes an utterance to be true, in virtue of holding a statement to be true which they take to imply the concluded utterance. Distinct statements are distinct by virtue of their signifiers or their meaning.

That is not an inference, but it is an upference, because you are implying that is true.
