You might be feeling a sharp pain in your eardrum this is caused when the tmj joint is retracting itself to its rightful place most of the time it happens to children who sleep when your child says that let them relax dont wake them up when you wake your child up the join retraction stops because the brain activates the jaw the child may also feel he/she tinnitus is going away so let them relax.
