Solanthrope (so-lan-thrope)
noun
1. A person who feels deeply disconnected from human behavior, values, and social norms; someone who prefers solitude over interaction with the general population.
2. An individual exhibiting independent, introspective, or neurodivergent tendencies, often frustrated by inconsistency, illogical rules, or hypocrisy in human systems.
3. (informal) A “lone wolf” mindset applied to the human species, characterized by self-reliance, keen observation, and selective engagement with others.

Etymology: From Latin sol (“alone”) + Greek anthropos (“human”), reflecting a solitary disposition in contrast to mainstream humanity.
