Trickviting

When a friend invites you to an event, only for you to shortly realize you are the third wheel. It happens swiftly and can be extremely awkward. (As with a girlfriend)

Garrett: Hey man. Wanna grab something to eat tonight?

Gabe: Ya man sounds good.

(Gabe arrives to the restaurant only to find that Justin and his girlfriend are sitting in the same booth together holding hands.)

Gabe: Damn!!! I was a victim of trickviting.
